ULTIMOCALL designs and sells seven pairs — true wireless, neckband, clip-on and a call
headset — with three portable speakers beside them. Earbuds are the business. The speakers
are a small line, not a second one.
What we are
Narrow on purpose
Wearable audio is a hard enough problem on its own. A driver has to fit in a space smaller
than a sugar cube, survive being sweated on, cancel a train, and run for a working day on
a battery the size of a lentil. Everything we know how to do is pointed at that.
So there is no soundbar, no home theatre, no car audio and no charger accessories with our
name printed on somebody else's tooling. Three driver platforms, seven pairs, one shared
noise-cancelling algorithm and one shared battery target — and when we improve any of
those, the improvement lands across the range rather than in a new flagship.
The three speakers are the one thing outside that, and they are outside it on purpose:
different drivers, but the same codecs, the same forty-hour rule and the same warranty.
They exist because the engineering was already paid for and people kept asking for
something to put on a table — not because we want to be in the speaker business. Three
models is the whole line and there is no fourth planned.
Everything runs at least forty hours — buds plus case, or a speaker on one charge
Everything is IPX5 or better; the speakers are IP67, except Slab at IP66
Everything holds two live connections, on SBC and AAC at minimum
Every pair has single buds, a spare case and four tip sizes available separately
7earbuds and headsets
3speakers, and no fourth planned
40 hminimum playtime, not maximum
24 mowarranty, batteries included
How we work
Four decisions we have already made for you
None of these are marketing positions. Each one costs us something, which is the only reason
it is worth writing down.
01
One number, measured one way
Battery life is quoted at 50 % volume on AAC with ANC off, and the ANC-on figure is printed directly beside it. ANC depth is quoted as a curve, not as a single peak with the frequency left out. If a figure needs a footnote to be true, the footnote goes on the page.
02
Replaceable, not sealed
Lose a bud and you buy a bud. Wear out a case and you buy a case. Every product we have shipped keeps its spares available, and tips are sold in all four sizes rather than bundled into a kit you mostly throw away.
03
No proprietary anything
SBC and AAC everywhere, LC3 where the silicon supports it, and no codec that only works with one brand of phone. No account, no sign-in, and no app required to change the ANC mode — the app is optional and the buds are complete without it.
04
Free shipping instead of a discount code
Shipping is free and tracked to every country, with no minimum and no threshold to reach. We would rather set one price that already includes getting the thing to you than run a permanent sale against a list price nobody pays.
The other half
What we do not claim
A specification list is easy to pad. These are the things a wireless earbud cannot do, said
plainly, so nothing on the rest of this site has to be read as a stretch.
Noise cancelling does not remove voices. Attenuation collapses above about 2 kHz. Someone talking next to you will still be audible on every model here, and on every model anyone else makes.
IPX5 is not waterproof. It is a jet test, not an immersion test. The three speakers are rated IP67, but nothing you wear here is a swimming earbud and no bud belongs in a shower.
Bluetooth is not lossless. LC3 is a real improvement over SBC at the same bitrate, and on Meridian it is the closest we get to the source. It is still not a wire, and no radio link is a mastering room.
Batteries wear out. Ours are specified to hold 80 % after 500 cycles. That is roughly two years of daily use, which is exactly as long as the warranty runs.
